Visual Journals
Visual journals are a great way to promote creativity alongside linguistic talents. The pictures and paired words can help students better express what they are feeling. Students can be given the opportunity to share in what they wrote about. Students can be taught to develop SEL skills regarding respectfulness and empathy by listening intently and offering feedback.
